### About Walter Geddes

Walter Geddes is a photographer and wedding videographer based in Inverness, with extensive experience documenting weddings and other special occasions.

His photography journey began in 2006 during a trip to Madeira, where he purchased his first camera to document the scenery around him. After taking photography lessons a couple of years later, his interest developed into increasingly regular work, eventually becoming a semi-professional career.

Walter went on to establish a successful photography studio on Canal Road in Inverness, operating under the name Studio HD Inverness. Over the years, he has photographed hundreds of weddings and continues to provide photography services alongside his videography work.

### Wedding Videography

Walter began focusing more heavily on wedding videography in 2021, following discussions with fellow photographer Michael Carver. He initially filmed several weddings alongside Michael, who was photographing the events.

After producing his first few wedding films, demand for his videography services grew significantly. Within two years, he was filming more than 40 weddings annually.

As the business expanded, Walter brought a team of professional editors on board to handle the post-production of his wedding films. The editing team has been working with the business for more than a year, allowing Walter to concentrate primarily on filming and capturing the events themselves.

### Photography & Videography Experience

With a background spanning photography, studio work and wedding coverage, Walter brings experience from both sides of the visual storytelling process. His work has included hundreds of weddings, with wedding videography now forming the main focus of his business.

### A Creative Pursuit Outside the Camera

Away from photography and videography, Walter has another creative outlet: music. He occasionally plays trumpet as part of the horn section of the local Highland band Scooty and the Skyhooks.

His trumpet has become something of a second piece of essential equipment alongside his cameras and videography gear.
