### About the Photographer
This London-based freelance photographer has more than 30 years of professional experience, working primarily with design agencies, businesses and publishing organisations.
His commercial work covers a variety of photography requirements, including editorial features, creative portraiture and corporate publications such as annual reports. His focus is on producing imagery that helps organisations communicate their identity, values and key messages effectively.
### Commercial & Editorial Photography
With decades of experience working with people and environments, the photographer has developed a particular ability to create strong imagery in real-world settings. Understanding the people involved, as well as the character of each location, forms an important part of his approach.
He is comfortable taking on a brief and location and developing the photographic approach around the circumstances of the assignment. Whether working independently or with a larger production team, he aims to create engaging and purposeful images that communicate clearly.
Portrait photography is a significant part of his work, often incorporating the surrounding environment to provide additional context and character rather than treating the subject in isolation.
### Documentary & Personal Photography
Alongside his commercial career, the photographer maintains an ongoing personal practice centred around documentary photography and the changing social landscape of Britain.
His earlier **'Estate'** series has received significant attention and has been exhibited widely. The work was subsequently published as his first monograph in 2015.
His more recent project, **'Provision'**, explores aspects of Britain's post-war social ideals through the country's modernist architecture. The project resulted in a 320-page photography book, *Provision – Architecture of the Post War Consensus*, featuring 162 colour photographs and published in March 2025.
The book is available through his online shop.
### Professional Membership
The photographer is a member of the **Association of Photographers**, reflecting his ongoing involvement within the professional photography industry.
His work spans commercial, editorial and documentary photography, combining extensive professional experience with a continued personal interest in documenting people, places and the changing British landscape.
